The base 6” layer is made of a very firm core foam that is engineered to contour perfect to the Harmony adjustable bases. This makes sleeping more comfortable than other memory foam mattresses because you have firm support that allows you to easily turn over at night and helps to maintain your mobility when transferring in and out of bed.
