Discovery Series – Kids Adaptive Tricycle


The Discovery Series is a kids adaptive tricycle line by Freedom Concepts. These tricycles are primarily designed to introduce children and early teens to biking. They are available in a wide range of sizes, including the DCP Mini, DCP12, and DCP16 models. Each model is uniquely designed to cater to children as young as 18 months old up to 14 years old. Specifically, the Discovery Series tricycles can help users gain independence and increase mobility. They are suitable for children with simple balance problems, as well as those with more-involved cases. Such as cerebral palsy, spina bifida, Down syndrome, head injury, muscular dystrophy, autism, and dwarfism.



Our Discovery Series tricycles provide a sense of freedom for children with limited mobility. They allow them to move and explore their environment at their own pace while developing independence and having fun. DCP Mini

Designed for our smallest riders, the DCP Mini is an upright adaptive tricycle. The DCP Mini can help riders as young as 18 months old all the way up to 5 years old reach therapeutic milestones, all while introducing them to the joys of adaptive biking.

  • Independently adjustable hoop handlebars with telescopic posts. 
  • Locked or unlocked handlebar positioning to limit or control the rider’s ability to steer the bike.  
  • Direct drive gearing with easy pedal power to encourage reciprocal motion of the legs. 
  • Standard mountain footplates with additional available upgraded footplate options.  
  • ABS enclosed chainguard to protect little fingers from the bike’s chain. 
  • Multiple options available for brake positioning and an option to add a secondary brake. 
  • Supportive Mini High-Back seating system with multiple options to add lateral supports, adjustable tilt fork, harnesses or head supports. 
  • Standard bike essentials including safety flag, wheel reflectors, animal squeaky horn or bell and multi-tool. 
  • Multiple accessory options to further customize the bike to the rider’s needs.
